DIGITAL PRODUCTS - NO REFUNDS POLICY
Due to the nature of digital products (eBooks and audiobooks), all sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE once the download link has been delivered to your email.
By purchasing from Ava Lane Shop, you acknowledge that:
- Digital content is delivered instantly via email
- Once delivered, the product cannot be "returned"
- You have access to free samples before purchase to ensure the content meets your expectations
🗓️14-DAY EXCEPTION WINDOW
While digital products are generally non-refundable, we offer a 14-day grace period for the following circumstances ONLY:
✅ Technical Issues:
- Download link not received or not working
- File corruption or formatting errors
- Compatibility issues we cannot resolve
✅ Accidental Duplicate Purchase:
- You accidentally purchased the same book twice
✅ Product Mismatch:
- The delivered product is significantly different from the description
❌ Refunds Will NOT Be Granted For:
- Change of mind after downloading
- "I didn't like the story/characters"
- "The content was too explicit" (free samples are provided)
- Requests made after 14 days from purchase date
📧HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
If you believe you qualify for a refund under our exception policy:
1. Email: hello@avalane.shop
2. Include:
- Your order number
- Your name
- The email you used at checkout
- Clear explanation of the technical issue
Response Time: We respond within 48 business hours (Monday-Friday, excluding US holidays).
🤔DOWNLOAD SUPPORT
Before requesting a refund, please contact us for technical support. Most download issues can be resolved within minutes.
If something didn't download right, or you're running into tech issues, email me at hello@avalane.shop. I'll do everything I can to get your story into your hands (and onto your favorite device!).
⏱️REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to reflect the transaction.
🚫FRAUDULENT REQUESTS
We reserve the right to refuse refunds that appear fraudulent, abusive, or violate our terms of service. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Requesting refunds after consuming the entire product
- Patterns of repeated refund requests
- Chargeback fraud
This is super rare, but I do reserve the right to refuse a refund if the request seems fraudulent or dishonest. That said… if you're reading this carefully, you're probably not the kind of person I'm talking about 😉
